The meeting was held in conjunction with the Continence Foundation of Australia at the splendid congress centre in Darling Harbour.
The programme had 3 State of Art lectures and trialled a semi-structured session on the significance of detrusor instability, utilizing papers that had been accepted by the Scientific Committee.
It was preceded by a meeting of the International Children’s Continence Society.
The welcome ceremony commenced with a splendid fireworks show on the waterfront. As this was the 25th ICS meeting it was celebrated with a silver themed Gala dinner on the final evening, and a fund of stories.
There was an opportunity for delegates to see Mozart’s opera, The Marriage of Figaro at the world famous Sydney Opera House, just across the water from the Sydney Harbour Bridge
