This workshop would be useful for urologists, urogynaecologists, gynaecologists, colorectal surgeons, specialized nurses and physiotherapists, continence advisors and all affiliated professionals.

The aim is to explore the neurological basis of complex pelvic floor disorders and to provide guidance for management and treatment using different types of neuromodulation.

The objectives are:

  1. To understand the neurology of the pelvic floor in complex pelvic floor disorders like intractable OAB/DO, chronic pelvic pain and faecal incontinence.
  2. To comprehend how neuromodulation works.
  3. To look at the role of Posterior Tibial Nerve Stimulation (PTNS), Sacral Neurmodulation (SNM) and Pudendal Neuromodulation (PNM) in the management of complex pelvic floor disorders.
  4. To practice PTNS, SNM and PNM techniques on provided models
