Rizwan Hamid is a Consultant Urologist and Chair of Governance and Audit at Kings College Hospital London, Jeddah. Previously he has been a Honorary Senior Lecturer at University College London. He was also the Clinical Lead for NeuroUrology at London Spinal Injuries Unit.

He trained at Institute of Urology, London and undertook his research (MD-Res) evaluating fertility in spinal cord injury at University College London.

His clinical interests include surgical treatment of urinary incontinence, neurostimulation and neurourology.

He has sat on the Boards of Functional Urology Sections of EAU and BAUS. He is Chair of neurourology Promotion Committee of ICS.
He is a member of EAU Guidelines of Neurourology.

He has been a Co-Chair of a number of Standardization Documents and has been invited to contribute review articles on neurourology.

He is research active and has been Chief or Principal Investigator of a number of Clinical Trials.

He is regularly invited to Chair and present at National and International meetings including EAU, BAUS, ICS and SIU.

He has authored about 100 peer reviewed articles and has been invited to contribute more than 15 book chapters. He is on Editorial Board of a number of International Journals’ including Neurourology & Urodynamics.
