Prof. Cassio Riccetto graduated in Medicine at University of Campinas - Unicamp (Brazil) in 1989. He got the Master degree of Surgery (1997), PhD in Surgical Sciences (2000) and became Associate Professor of Urology at the same institution in 2007. Nowadays he is the director of the Division of Urology at University of Campinas (UNICAMP), Sao Paulo, Brazil. He is member of the Brazilian Society of Urology, American Urological Association, International Continence Society and Latin America Pelvic Floor Association (ALAPP), with distinguished activities as speaker, scientific committee member/director or organizer of academic and research meetings in Brazil and abroad. He has published over 100 peer reviewed articles, and was the co-author of 4 books and 65 chapters focused on Incontinence, Functional Urology and Female Pelvic Medicine. He was awarded with 13 national and 10 international prizes in recognizion on his research activities about incontinence and pelvic floor disorders. Furthermore, he tutored 40 researchers in Master and PhD programs and has been the Director of the Biomaterial Research Unit of the Department of Surgery of University of Campinas - Brazil since 2005.
