Good Urodynamic Practice - an ICS recognised course in urodynamic evaluation of female patients

Unpublished

Since 2002 our department of obstetrics and gynecology, at Glostrup Hospital, Copenhagen, has

conducted popular courses in urodynamics 1-2 times per year. We are the only centre in Scandinavia to be certified by the International Continence Society (ICS) to hold such courses.  This course will be held in English. This course is targeted at urologists, gynecologists, nurses, continence therapists and other professionals who use urodynamic evaluations in their daily practice, and multi-professional interaction is encouraged.

The program is consistent with the ICS recommended curriculum. Certificates will be issued to participants. Hands-on training in our urodynamic lab is available on request. Prominent speakers from the Nordic countries have been invited. The course will be interactive, with workshops and case demonstrations, including discussions of participants’ own cases.

Organizing committee:

Prof. Gunnar Lose, DMSc

Dr. Lone Mouritsen, PhD

Dr. Søren Brostrøm, PhD

Dr. Niels Klarskov

Ms. Berit Larsen, RN

Registration fee incl. lunches and breaks is DKK 2000 = 270 EUR. The course will be held in Central Copenhagen, with very easy access by air or rail. Hotels in all price categories are within walking distance.

If you are interested in participating, please e-mail soren@brostrom.dk to receive you registration package. Please register no later than 1 October.
