Women Controlling Continence Webinar Tuesday, September 1, 2009 8:30-10:00 p.m. There is still time to register for this important forum for women, by women, hosted by the AUA Foundation. Millions live with unwanted leakage of urine. This on-line Webinar forum from the American Urological Association Foundation, the International Continence Society, the International Foundation for Functional Gastrointestinal Disorders, the National Association for Continence, and the Simon Foundation will feature nationally known experts to: 1. Explain incontinence in women. 2. Identify the impact of incontinence on health and wellness. 3. Discuss the stigma associated with bladder and bowel problems. 4. Describe what can be done to prevent incontinence. 5. Explain the self-care measures that can improve the lives of those with incontinence. 6. Identify treatment options for women with incontinence. Participants in the live program will have an opportunity to present questions to the speaker panel at the conclusion of the program. This forum will be recorded for future on-line viewing.
