Following the successful collaboration with the Thai Urological Association (TUA) in Pattaya in April 2009, this will be a related, but more specialised course to be held in Thailand. This will be the first official ICS collaboration with the recently formed (March 2010) Thai Continence Society, an organisation which has strong links to the TUA. The course will focus on nursing and will be hospital-based and held in Bangkok. Some 200 - 300 Thai nurses are expected to attend.

Helmut Madersbacher is the course director on behalf of the ICS. From the Thai side, it will be Professor Wachira Kochakarn, Chairman of the recently founded Thai Continence Society.

Helmut Madersbacher has arranged ICS speakers to include two nurses, one physiotherapist and one doctor to underline the multidisciplinary nature of the society.
