We would like to invite to participate in the Congress all physicians and specialists who face issues of their ageing patients in their every-day practice. The scientific programme of the Congress is very diversified and is of an interdisciplinary nature, in the same way as gerontology and geriatrics are. We want to to integrate the knowledge of the most outstanding specialists regarding ageing-associated diseases with the state of knowledge of geriatricians which is oriented towards the specificity and clinical dissimilarities of the course of diseases and of the treatment of these diseases in old age.
