The front face of the program for the Japanese World Continence week events. We have three main activities :

Free telephone continence clinic on the 17th of June til 30th June 2010
The World continence orienteering game on the 20th of June 2010
Public Forums on the 26th of June 2010

At Tokyo, Sapporo, Kanazawa, Nagano, Kochi, Okinawa. We started the free telephone continence clinic from 10:00 to 20:00 prior to the World Continence Week. It was started from June 17 and will end June 30. We have about 20 calls each day from all over Japan.

Orienteering is a family of sports that requires navigational skills using a map and compass to navigate from point to point in diverse and usually unfamiliar terrain. Participants are given a map, usually a specially prepared orienteering map, which they use to find control points.The World continence orienteering game set the 15 control points with the questions about excretion.

Participants compete not only how many control point can find, but also how many answers are correct. About 70 participants (from 9 years old to 80 years old) enjoyed 90 minutes game. This Continence orienteering event was introduced on TV news. On the 26th of June, in the following six cities, Tokyo, Sapporo, Nagano, Kanazawa, Kochi, Okinawa, Continence Public Forums were held.

The photos are of Tokyo’s public forum. The theme was “For the comfortable excretion”. We had 160 participants in Tokyo forum but about 1,000 participants in total all over Japan.
