The Young Urology Meeting is an annual research conference that brings together early-stage clinicians, academic and pharmaceutical researchers in urology research. Our aim is to provide a forum for the presentation of research, promoting the exchange of ideas and maximising networking opportunities to foster new collaborations.
Expert speakers deliver keynote lectures and act as mentors during the meeting. Previously invited experts include Marcus Drake, Chris Fry, Karen McCloskey, Yasuhiko Igawa and Phil Smith.
Confirmed keynotes:
- Dr Suzy Elneil (University College Hospital, UK)
- Prof Russ Chess-Williams (Bond University, Australia)
- Dr Gordon McMurray (Outpost Medicine, UK)
We understand the challenges early career researchers face and every year we include a researcher development session or thinking out of the box session about new directions of science. Previous topics include, amongst others, research in the industry, use of mathematical modelling, and entrepreneurial mindset arising from research.
ICS provides a short session on support for trainees and other benefits of ICS membership.
