Mesh utilisation, regulation, and litigation has been the subject of debate by specialty societies in the past few years. The goal of this round table panel is to present a new, and an international perspective of the subject of mesh utilisation, regulation and litigation, and more important our learning that has evolved as a result of this experience. The panel consists of internationally recognised experts in the field of female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery, who will share their experience and perspective of the evolution of mesh utilisation, the regulation, and litigation that followed. Most important, and based on their experience, the panel will present content to serve as a guide (for specialty societies, regulatory agencies, industry, and physicians) for future adoption of new technologies in the field of female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery.
