We warmly welcome you to Melbourne for the 51st ICS Annual Meeting, held over 12-15 October 2021!
The last ICS annual meeting in Australia was in 1995 (Sydney) so a return in 2021 will be cause for celebration. Melbourne is a fantastic host city offering delegates a multicultural experience with a variety of excellent dining options, outdoor entertainment, outstanding museums and vibrant shopping.
ICS is the world premier multidisciplinary scientific society bringing the best, the newest and the most advanced techniques for the study and treatment of pelvic floor disorders, urinary incontinence, pelvic prolapse and LUTS. We have an outstanding line-up of concurrent sessions and hands-on workshops, state-of-the-art lectures and videos. In addition, our exhibitors will present the latest in technology.
We invite you to submit your abstract to ICS 20201. The Abstract Submission Centre will open from 4th January and will close 1st April 2021.
The Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC) is superbly located on the banks of the iconic Yarra River within walking distance of "The City" centre. Around Melbourne itself are inspiring day trips to the Yarra Valley and Mornington Peninsula wine regions, the Great Ocean Road, the Penguin Parade at Phillip Island, historic Sovereign Hill and Healesville Sanctuary.
Further afield, Melbourne’s airport offers easy access to attractions, including Sydney, Uluru (Ayer’s Rock) in the outback, the Great Barrier Reef and the wonderful beach resorts of the Whitsunday Islands.
The main airport serving the city is Melbourne Airport (also referred to as Tullamarine Airport), which is the second busiest in Australia. Its a major hub for many international destinations but is also the most used connection with Sydney. Getting to the "CBD" or Melbourne city centre is easily connected with an express bus service plus the usual taxi services.
