This workshop aims to enhance participants’ clinical and surgical expertise in managing erectile dysfunction and Peyronie’s disease using penile implants. Through expert talks, semi-live surgical demonstrations, and hands-on simulation with hydrogel models, attendees will gain practical skills in patient selection, surgical techniques, and complication management. Participants will observe and practice inflatable and malleable implant insertion, penile straightening, and pump/reservoir placement. The course fosters interactive learning with direct faculty engagement, preparing urologists and trainees to confidently perform penile prosthesis procedures and address complex andrological conditions with improved outcomes.

Learning Objectives

  • Identify appropriate candidates for penile prosthesis implantation through effective patient selection and counseling strategies.
  • Understand surgical techniques for both inflatable and malleable penile implant procedures, including device selection and operative steps
  • Recognize and manage intraoperative and postoperative complications associated with penile prosthesis implantation.
