Podium Video Guidelines

Video presentations in session halls

Podium video abstract presentations are short, pre-recorded videos shown during a live session. A session chair will introduce your abstract, and you will take part in a live Q&A after your video.

Key steps for podium video abstract presenters:

  1. Prepare your disclosure slide and upload at least 1 hour before your session
  2. Attend your session and present your video

Your Video and Disclosures

The AV team will play your video during the session, you do not need to bring it onsite.

You must prepare a disclosure slide using the official PowerPoint template. This slide will be shown before your video in the session hall, no other slides are required.

All disclosure slides must be submitted at the Speaker Service Centre (Room 0.2 Berlin) at least 1 hour before the session start time.

Presentation Times and Durations

Please arrive at the session room 15 minutes before the start of your session.

Each video abstract slot includes:

  • Video display: 5 minutes
  • Discussion and questions: 2 minutes

Chairs will be asked to strictly enforce the time limit on your slot.

Your video abstract will be available via the ICS 2026 Scientific Programme.

The official language of the ICS and the Annual Meeting is English, therefore discussion and questions are expected to take place in English.

Discussion, Questions and Answers

At the end of your video you will be asked questions about your abstract. The Chair of your session will facilitate questions from the audience. If English is not your first language, and you need assistance, please bring someone to help you translate.
