Getting to Maastricht

Excellent transport links that make traveling here simple from almost anywhere

Maastricht is remarkably easy to reach from around the world thanks to its position in the southern Netherlands, right at the crossroads of Belgium and Germany. The city is surrounded by major international airports, well‑served by fast rail links and connected by key highways, making travel smooth and straightforward no matter where you’re coming from.

By Plane

Maastricht is well connected by air, with several international airports close by. Major hubs include Amsterdam Schiphol, Brussels Airport–Zaventem and Düsseldorf International Airport.

Smaller nearby airports include Maastricht–Aachen Airport, Eindhoven Airport, Cologne–Bonn Airport and Düsseldorf Weeze Airport.

Shuttle services are available from these airports to Maastricht.

If you are flying with KLM, you can use the KLM Bus Service between Schiphol and Maastricht. To use this service, your KLM ticket must list Maastricht as your final destination and the bus segment must be clearly included. More information is available at www.klm.com.
