Nurses

Aims: The attendees will be exposed to current evidence on aetiology, nursing assessment and treatment of stress and urge urinary incontinence in the adult. In each session the speakers will provide some examples of multidisciplinary care (nursing, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, physician) and will include case studies illustrating the application of evidence to improve continence. The basic session will compliment the focused physiotherapy 1/2 day.

Objectives:
Attendees will:
participate in discussion about Grades of Evidence on continence management;
be exposed to continence practice from a nursing perspective;
recognise the interdisciplinary nature of continence care.
