Cynthia (Cindy) E. Neville, PT, DPT, WCS

Dr. Cindy Neville is Assistant Professor of Physical Therapy and practicing pelvic health physical therapist at Mayo Clinic Florida. She is a national and international investigator and presenter on women’s and pelvic health rehabilitation.

Areas of Interest:
Dr. Neville’s professional vision is that pelvic health rehabilitation services which are founded upon the best evidence based practice will be provided as the standard of care and will be accessible to people who need and desire them.

Dr. Neville is a Women’s Health Certified Specialist (WCS); board certified by the American Board of Physical Therapist Specialties since 2010. Her areas of interest in clinical practice include pelvic pain, pelvic floor rehabilitation, and obstetric physical therapy. She has been certified in biofeedback for pelvic muscle dysfunction by the Biofeedback Certification Institute of America. (BCB - PMD). She was awarded her Certificate of Achievement in Pelvic Physical Therapy (CAPP-pelvic) from the American Physical Therapy Association’s (APTA) Section on Women’s Health (SOWH) in 2007.

Academic Activities:
Dr. Neville is Assistant Professor of Physical Therapy at Mayo Clinic. She is faculty in the Orthopedic Physical Therapy Residency Program at Mayo Clinic Florida. She is active in research in pelvic health at Mayo Clinic Florida.

Dr. Neville is a nationally and internationally recognized research investigator and has authored and co-authored several research articles and textbook chapters in the area of women’s health and pelvic health rehabilitation. She has presented seminars, research platforms, and research posters at national and international meetings including the World Congress of Physical Therapy, the International Continence Society, the World Congress of Low Back and Pelvic Pain, and the American Physical Therapy Association.
