The founder members decided that the society should meet annually with a different meeting chair and venue each year.
The ICS Annual Meeting remains today, one of the most valued dates in the Urological, gynaecological, physiotherapy and nursing calendar attracting in excess of 3,000 delegates from all corners of the globe, and unique with its multi-disciplinary focus on Continence. The Annual Meeting consists of a 1-day Educational Programme followed by a 3-day Scientific Programme. Abstracts presented at the meeting are published in the Journal of Neurourology & Urodynamics (the official Journal of the ICS).
Keynote speakers, State of the Art Lectures, Point-Counterpoint Discussions and Live Surgery events combine to make the ICS Annual Meeting the premier scientific event for Continence professionals, surgeons, research scientists, bio-engineers and allied professions.
