This is a 3.5 day course for nurses, doctors and all professions supplementary to medicine. It has been running successfully for the past eight years for those who have some basic knowledge and experience of urodynamics but who are not experts. The course is a combination of lectures using slides, PowerPoint or overheads, interactive discussion and practical demonstrations. Time is spent discussing the basic principles of urodynamics, setting up equipment, urodynamic techniques, interpretation of results and writing reports. Most of the relevant topics are covered but this is not a specialised course and neither does it cover the advanced application of urodynamics to management.
