Caring for individuals with long term conditions is currently high on the health care agenda. This conference aims to explore many of the day to day issues which impact on bladder and bowel function for those who live with conditions such as MS, Parkinson’s disease, dementia and stroke. For many of these individuals poorly managed continence problems have the potential to adversely affect quality of life which may already be compromised. Through masterclasses and keynote speakers, the conference will examine recent national policy and guidance to increase delegates understandingn of multidisciplinary strategies in relation to assessment, treatment and management of bladder and bowel dysfunction. This two day conference is aimed at nurses and other health care professionals with an interest in continence care. The conference will be streamed and will therefore appeal to novice and expert practitioners.
