Multidisciplinary study day, April 9th 2010. CCSG / continentia Advances in urinary continence. Preliminary program Presentation. In January 2009 a joint meeting was held between the Clinical Continence Supervision Group (CCSG) and the Urodynamics Unit of Centro Medico Teknon, in Barcelona. A group of continence professionals liked to Teknon had organised similar events since 2004, and set up an association in January 2009 to organise future events and promote continence knowledge (www contientia.org) Goals and target audience. After the satisfactory outcome of the first joint meeting a new one is scheduled to update more aspects on diagnosis and treatment of urinary incontinence ranging from primary care to Hospital settings. The target audience are all health care professionals involved and interested in urinary incontinence (urologists, gynaecologists, primary care physicians, nurses, physiotherapists etc) ranging from out-patient facilities to hospitals. Based on previous meetings, 100 participants are expected, mainly from Spain, but the meeting is also opened to English speaking international delegates. Official languages will be English and Spanish, with simultaneous translation throughout the day. Acreditation. The event is organised by “continentia” association. Accreditation from the Spanish and European Health authorities is expected (as has been in previous meetings). Venue. Centro Médico Teknon. Barcelona.
