The Chile Masterclass – Management of Post-Operative Complication of Prolapse and Continence Surgery, an Advanced Masterclass (Urogynaecology). Will follow a similar theme to the UK Cadaver Masterclass in that this course also covers the Management of Post-Operative Complications. Taught by leading Urology and Gynaecology surgeons, this hands on cadaver masterclass focuses on the delegate’s requirements and aims to let the delegate put in to practice what they are learning.

Venue: Universidad de Chile, Santiago, Chile

Course Director: Mr A Digesu Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, Urogynaecology Subspecialist and Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer at St. Mary’s Hospital, Imperial College of London, UK.

Aim: The cadaver lab will be a training experience focused on you and your need, with a maximum of four trainees per cadaver (fresh frozen). This gives you a really focused opportunity to put into practice what you are learning during the course.

Content includes:

  • Levator ani avulsion: myth or reality? Two points of view.
  • Complications of Midurethral Sling
  • Anatomy of the Ischiorectal Fossa (vessels, nerves and ligaments)
  • Complications of Prolapse Surgery
