Welcome Message from Prof. Montserrat Espuña Pons, Meeting Chair
It is with great pleasure that I invite you to come and join us in Barcelona for the 10 th Annual Congress of the European Urogynaecological Association (EUGA). On behalf of the local organising committee and all EUGA members in Spain, I warmly welcome all of you to take part in the most outstanding event of our Association. The EUGA’s Education and Scientific Committee with the support of the Executive Committee are working hard in order to provide an excellent scientific programme which will meet the high standards of the Urogynaecology in Europe and in the world. Our objective is to offer to all professionals who are involved in the care of women with lower urinary tract or pelvic floor dysfunction, the best and the latest advances in this constantly innovative field. Barcelona is the second largest city in Spain, with 2,000 years of fascinating history and cultural heritage, is the capital and the most populous city of Catalonia and has consistently ranked as one of the best cities in Europe in terms of quality of life. I very much hope you will take this opportunity to visit our country and I look forward to meeting you in Barcelona in October 2017.
