The method is a clear reflection of the International Consultation on Urological Disease’s (ICUD) emphasis on consultation and consensus.

History of ICI book

Each new chapter in the book is the subject of an intensive, systematic update and review through the International Consultation on Incontinence (ICI). The ICI is one of the Consultations that are held under the auspices of the International Consultation on Urological Diseases (ICUD). The 1st Consultation occurred in 1998 and since then the ICI has established itself as one of the foremost and widely quoted set of international guidelines on the management of urinary and faecal incontinence.
