Elise De, ICS Education Committee Chair, invites you to attend ICS 2019.

We have a range of sessions for early career professionals at the annual meeting. Including the annual ICS Early Career Professionals session, which this year has a new format. We will have mock abstract presentations and a panel of experts, providing feedback on content and presentation skills. There will also be a series of lectures from ICS experts:

  • How to apply for a research grant, Lori Birder
  • 5 do’s and 5 don’ts on planning a basic research project, Karl-Erik Andersson
  • 5 do’s and 5 don’ts on planning a clinical research project, Jacques Corcos
  • How to write a paper and get it published, Christopher Chapple

This session guarantees you will get up close and personal with these outstanding ICS members as well as your early career professional Chairs, Amy Dobberfuhl and Mikolaj Przydacz.

Following the welcome reception all early career professional session attendees and speakers are invited to attend an evening out. This year we will be holding the event at Boulebar! Where delegates will learn to play boule and enjoy local food and drink. Providing delegates the chance to get to know other early career professionals before the meeting really gets going.
