The ICS is pleased to confirm that ICS 2019, the 49th Meeting of the International Continence Society, is accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME). The EACCME is an institution of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS), www.uems.net.

We know that CME is important for our delegates as this helps them continuously improve their practice and care of patients by increasing their knowledge, skills and professional performance. Medicine and science are constantly changing and moving forward and so are our medical professionals whether they work in research, health care, clinical care, rehabilitation, or other areas of medicine. CME helps professionals meet requirements for maintenance of license, speciality board certification and other professional privileges.

CME accreditation provides a guarantee to participants from all over the world that the content of the CME provided is of a high quality, unbiased, and that best practice educational standards have been met.

The 49th Annual Meeting of the International Continence Society' is designated for a maximum of (or 'for up to') 26 hours of European external CME credits. Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.
