The second annual World Continence Week in the USA took place the week of June 21, 2010 with a number of events throughout the country, in Buffalo, NY, Huntsville, AL, Dallas, TX and the main event in Chicago, IL. In Chicago, IL there was a public outdoor health fair outside a government building in the downtown area from 11 am - 2 pm. The event was promoted in advance with ads in the Chicago Tribune, Chicago Sun-Times and CBS Radio.  There were also PR announcements in the Chicago Sun-Times and the NBC affiliate, and the CBS affiliate showed up on-site to interview Diane Newman of the University of Pennsylvania.  Nearly 750 passersby interacted with the World Continence Week exhibitors and received goodie bags with materials on continence prevalence, symptoms and solutions.

Events in Buffalo, New York included two classes held on June 21stand sponsored by Independent Health Care. Information was sent to over 1600 independent physicians and the public. The program featured Diana Underwood, Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner and directory of Grace Anatomy. On June 22nd Ms Underwood conducted an education meeting with 44 case managers on the topics of incontinence. 

A community event was held on June 25th in Huntsville, Alabama supported by Aegis Technologies Group, Inc. and featured education for both men and women on incontinence isues.
