ICS Education course in conjunction with IUGA

The ICS will be hosting an education course in South Africa in conjunction with IUGA and in association with Stellenbosch University and the South African Urogynealogical Society. The course will be an add-on to the IUGA Regional Symposia and will be held on 24th January 2013.

ICS will present current research-based evidenced regarding postpartum incontinence.

The local host for this event will be Donna Bliss.

The ICS Speakers and their topics will be as follows:

• The therapeutic assessment of postpartum pelvic floor muscle dysfunction -Anterior and posterior compartment

Lesley Hanson;

• Nursing assessment of postpartum urinary and faecal incontinence

• Nursing management of postpartum urinary and faecal incontinence
