Session contained 12 abstracts. Bladder outlet obstruction is considered a prevailing health problem. Medical treatment and surgery are currently the stars of the show. However, urodynamists are responsible for ensuring that proper functional studies of prostate gland and bladder contractility are carried out in order to fully understand functional outcomes. The first eight papers in session deal with this issue. The following papers talk about male stress urinary incontinence after radical prostatectomy. Improved surgical techniques have not completely eliminated this most feared post prostatectomy complication. They discussed the diagnostic utility of the 24-h pad test, conservative management and surgical treatment with male suburethral sling and periurethral injection of autologous adipose-derived regenerative cell.
