Henceforth, there is a great demand on efforts to disclose the varying etiologies and pathogeneses that result in bladder pain; the ultimate goal is to be able to administer the best treatment for each condition. Oncology is an example here: various phenotypes are identified all the time and in consequence more intelligent and target-oriented treatments can be offered.
