We are pleased to confirm that 2018 has been another outstanding year for ICS!

Annual Meeting and Events

Our Annual Meeting in Philadelphia enjoyed an excellent scientific programme and a most hospitable city. We had in excess of 1500 delegates which we are proud of considering it was the first time ICS had held its annual meeting in the USA since 2009. Sender Herschorn was awarded the ICS lifetime achievement award during the lively annual dinner. We would again like to thank Alan Wein, Diane Newman, Roger Dmochowski and Lori Birder for hosting ICS 2018 in the city of brotherly love.

The second ICS hands-on surgical cadaveric training took place in Bristol with Hashim Hashim reprising his role as course director. The event attracted 21 international delegates, receiving excellent feedback.

The ICS Regional Meeting took place this year in Brussels, Belgium with a focused programme titled 'A Pragmatic Approach in Refractory and Complex Neurogenic Bladder Problems.' The meeting offered simultaneous programmes for doctors, nurses and physiotherapists all with an interest in neurourology. The meeting was well attended with over 100 delegates and international faculty. The ICS also offered our first ever "live streamed" sessions, providing members with the opportunity to watch live presentations from anywhere in the world! We hope to offer more of these sessions at future ICS events.

The 7th workshop for Surgical repair of vaginal fistula and urinary incontinence took place on 12-14th December 2018 at the Ministry of Health, Khartoum State, Sudan. This course provided 17 delegates with hands-on surgical training on repairs to vaginal fistulas.

Look out for forthcoming ICS video and educational content on all of the above events!
