The ICS Fistula Committee was officially launched in October 2009. The mission of the ICS Fistula Committee is to raise awareness worldwide of obstetric fistula and its consequences in the developing world, to promote the prevention and treatment of fistula by means of research, education and training at different levels and to foster collaboration to achieve these objectives.
