Incontinencia urinaria: buscando las mejores soluciones/ Urinary Incontinence: looking for the best options

This society meeting of the Iberoamerican Society of Neurourology and Urogynaecology (SINUG) intends to provide an update on those current hot and controversial topics in the field of Functional Urology and Uro-gynaecology. Urologists, Gynaecologist, Uro-gynaecologists, and all allied professions with an interest in pelvic floor dysfunction will be welcome.

The views expressed in these Society Sessions are those of the speakers and not necessarily those of the International Continence Society.

INUS Society Session

INUS, the International Neuro-Urology Society, is a non-profit scientific society founded in 2015 by experts in neuro-urology from all around the world with now 295 members from 42 countries. Our aims are to raise awareness for neuro-urology and to increase its future presence in order to provide the best possible care for neuro-urological patients worldwide by education (course, seminars, lectures, videos), by research and by founding regional chapters in all major countries/regions. INUS is the only society, which focuses exclusively on neuro-urology. We welcome as members everyone – doctors, nurses, physiotherapist and others – who are involved in neuro-urological care and research.

Turkish Continence Society

The session will commence with the emerging role of sacral neuromodulation in the management of refractory overactive bladder. Different approaches to pelvic organ prolapse reapir will cover the next half an hour, focusing on tips and tricks to improve outcomes of robot-assisted sacrocolpopexy and sacrospinous ligament fixation. A panel of experts discussing the intricacies of managing female patients with urinary incontinence on a case-based fashion will conclude the agenda.
