Convenor: Kwang Myung Kim
This meeting was severely disrupted by the events of 9-11 a week before the ICS meeting. The destruction of the Trade Centre towers in New York and of the Pentagon in Washington of 11th September 01 by terrorist hijackers, caused considerable anxiety among most American citizens and many others about flying, so many cancelled their plans to attend.
Those who did attend were greeted by an excellent meeting in a grand venue, and a wonderful welcome. There was a spectacular demonstration of the very impressive traditional drums of Korea.
The Chairmen’s dinner was held aboard a small ship cruising down the Inchon River
