Hugo van Eijndhoven is consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, with a registration as urogynaecologist at Isala Hospital Zwolle, The Netherlands. After his basic medical training at the University of Groningen, he completed his training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the University Hospital Maastricht in 2001. Since that year he is working at the department of urogynaecology of the Isala Hospital. Since 2014 he is chairman of this tertiary referral department. He is founder of the research and innovation group of the women’s health department of Isala. With this research group many research projects were successfully completed. He and his team have a special interest in uterus preserving prolapse surgery and practice pattern variation in urogynaecology.
