Donna L Thompson is a certified family nurse practitioner and WOCNCB Certified Advanced Practice Continence Care Nurse who practices in the area of continence management. Her current practice is with the Division of Urogynecology, University of Pennsylvania Health System, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA where the focus of her practice is pelvic floor dysfunction, and urinary and fecal incontinence management. In addition, she has her her own consultation practice, Continence Solutions, which provides continence services to nursing homes. . Ms Thompson has had a number of publications with the most recent a chapter in the SUNA Core Curriculum on Geriatric Urology and was the Conference Chairperson for the SUNA Advanced Practice Urologic Conference in Philadelphia in April of 2018. She was the 2014 recipient of the Rodney Appell Continence Champion Award from NAFC.
