Enrique (Eric) Cruz is a clinical nurse consultant and serves as the manager of the Alfred Health Continence Service in Melbourne. He is also an adjunct research associate of the Department of Neurosciences of Monash University. He has experience working as clinical nurse educator of the Acquired Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre at Caulfield Hospital. Mr.Cruz leads an interdisciplinary team of clinicians who specialise in continence assessment, management and rehabilitation. He has published research in the use of electrical stimulation for continence rehabilitation and been associate investigator in several projects including that of a nurse-led constipation management in Acquired Brain Injury rehabilitation. Mr.Cruz is a nursing lecturer of La Trobe University in Australia, delivering post-graduate subjects on continence and urology. He holds a master’s degree in public health and is currently completing a PhD in continence rehabilitation post-stroke. He has been a contributing author of a public health nursing textbook and an adapting editor of a medical-surgical nursing textbook.
