Dr. Sanaee is a Board Certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and underwent Advanced Subspecialty Fellowship training in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (Urogynecology).
Currently, she is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Alberta, and her recent clinical practice includes a full-time academic urogynecology practice in Edmonton, emergency on-call urogynecology coverage, gynecology oncology on-call coverage and OB labour and delivery shifts. Dr. Sanaee also works as an OBGYN locum in BC and Alberta.
A graduate of McMaster University Medical School and OBGYN Residency, Dr. Sanaee went on to the University of British Columbia for Urogynecology Training.
Dr. Sanaee is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Alberta where she mentors and teaches young doctors through various levels of curriculum. She is also a scholar and active researcher in her areas of expertise.
Over the past decade Dr. Sanaee has trained and worked in 5 different provinces and territories, offering specialized care for pelvic floor disorders. She now works primarily in Edmonton, Alberta at the Lois Hole Hospital for Women Urogynecology Clinic as part of a world-renowned multi-disciplinary care team offering women quality surgical and conservative care.
