I completed by undergraduate training in biochemistry and molecular biology at Michigan State University. I received my medical degree and master's in health sciences at Yale University school of medicine. I completed residency at New York Presbyterian-Weill Cornell medical college and ultimately completed my training with an FPMRS fellowship at UT Southwestern Medical Center. I am currently in assistant professor at UT Southwestern medical center. I have dedicated myself to the care of all patients afflicted with any form of voiding dysfunction, with a particular interest in neuro-urology and female pelvic health. My research interests include the effect of neurologic diseases and outlet obstruction on the underlying mechanics of the bladder. Additionally we are working to develop a deeper understanding of the insults involved in the pathogenesis of bladder dysfunction, in particular overactive bladder, urge incontinence and underactive bladder, and the methods to properly diagnose, stratify, and treat these processes.

Dr Ramy Goueli declared on the Wednesday 4th August 2021 that they did not have any existing or known future financial relationships or affiliations to disclose (NONE).
