Associate Professor Ng Kwok Weng Roy (MBBS Mysore, LRCP Edin, LRCS Edin, LRCPS Glasg, FRCOG L’don, M Obstet & Gynaec L’pool, FAMS S’pore) is a Senior Consultant & Head, Division of Urogynaecology & Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery, Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, National University Hospital, Singapore & National University Singapore.
He was the Secretary of the International Urogynecological Association (IUGA) [2016-19] and its Program Committee chair at the IUGA annual meeting in 2017 (Vancouver), 2018 (Vienna) and co-chair, AUGS-IUGA joint annual meeting in 2019 (Nashville). He was the Asian representative on the International Advisory Board, IUGA [2014-15]. He was the local chair, IUGA Regional Symposium, Singapore, April, 2012 and will be chairing the LOC for the 46th IUGA Hybrid annual meeting, Singapore, 8-11 December 2021.
He is IUGA PROTECT (Prevention & Repair Of perineal Trauma Episiotomy through Coordinated Training) certified. He has been on the faculty of IUGA’s eXchange Programs and Regional Symposia in Asia for over 5 years; and has been invited as faculty / speaker / surgeon to numerous local, regional and international Urogynaecological and Obstetrical & Gynaecological conferences in the past 2 decades.
