A/Prof Dinning currently holds a Senior Medical Scientist position in the department of Surgery and Gastroenterology at Flinders Medical Centre. Prior to this he held the position of senior research fellow in the Department of Human Physiology at Flinders University (2011-2013) and in the School of Medicine, University of New South Wales (2009-2011). He has research interests in functional gut disorders and gastrointestinal motility. Collectively, he has published over 140 original peer reviewed papers, invited reviews and book chapters on Gastrointestinal Motility.
