Chris is a nurse and midwife with a long-standing interest in perineal care during childbirth. She holds a joint appointment as the Professor of Nursing and Midwifery between Mercy Health and La Trobe University, enabling her to work at the interface of clinical and academia, which facilitates the cycle of clinical practice informing research and evidence informing clinical practice.
