Dr Nager completed a fellowship in Urogynecology at St. George’s Hospital in London with Stuart Stanton and developed a Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (FPMRS) division at UC San Diego, serving as division director and fellowship program director before becoming department chair in 2015. In 2014 he was president of the American Urogynecologic Society. His research focus has been on urodynamics and clinical trials in pelvic floor disorders in both the NIH Urinary Incontinence Treatment Network and the Pelvic Floor Disorders Network and has over 120 publications. In 2016, he was awarded the National Association for Continence (NAFC) Lifetime Achievement Award.
