Helena Frawley, B.App.Sc.(PT), PhD, FACP (Clinical Specialist Women’s and Men’s Health Physiotherapy), is a Professor at the Melbourne School of Health Sciences, The University of Melbourne, Australia. Helena is also a Research Fellow with the Victorian Cancer Agency, and is currently undertaking research in the area of gynaecological cancer and pelvic floor dysfunction. Helena is active in ICS Standardisation of Terminology reports, and has chaired the recent terminology report for pelvic floor muscle assessment. Helena has a background as a pelvic floor physiotherapy clinician, allied health researcher, and currently supervises a team of PhD students across a range of pelvic floor conditions and populations.
