Sandra Engberg is a Professor at the University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing and the Associate Dean for Graduate Clinical Education. Her clinical practice and research has focused on the management of urinary incontinence (UI) in older adults and women. She has been the Principal Investigator (PI) or Co-PI on three large NIH-funded randomized controlled studies examining interventions for UI in frail older adults and women including a study examining the efficacy of acupuncture in decreasing UI in women. She is the Continence Section Editor for the Journal of Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nursing.
