Philip Toozs-Hobson is a Consultant Urogynaecologist at Birmingham Women’s Health Care NHS Trust. He completed his medical education at St. Mary’s Hospital Medical School in 1989, followed by an MRCOG in 1994. He spent over 3 years working for Professor Cardozo in London as a research fellow and then as a senior trainee, his MD in changes to the female pelvis due to childbirth was awarded in 2003. He has been the recipient of several awards, including a WellBeing research fellowship in 1995. He has published papers in several areas of Urogynaecology. He has undertaken Consultancy work for various companies including Astra Zenica, Cook, Eli Lily, Galen, Gynecare, Hollister, Madaus, Pfizer, Pharmacia, Astellas and UCB Pharma
