I am a young urology resident, currently working at the University Hospital of Ghent (Belgium). I combine my clinical practice with a PhD Research at the University of Ghent. I am investigating the impact of transition phases (puberty and menopause) on LUTS, with a focus on the lifelong character of these complaints. My topics of interest are functional and pediatric urology, with a keen interest in innovation in current clinical practice. I therefore believe in the great added value of research in the urological field and I plan to continue combining my clinical practice with academic work in my following carreer.
