Graduated as Physical Therapist from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Campinas (1987), master's and Ph.d at Biomedic Sciency from Universidade Estadual de Campinas (2003 to 2008) and Pos Doc at Department of Urology of University of British Columbia (2009 to 2010), in Canada. Has been Physiotherapist from the University of Campinas since 1987.
Was fellow at the University of North Carolina (1995) in the Department of Maternal Child Health, UNC-EUA. Was responsible for the Physical Therapy Service at the Center for Assistance to Women's Health (UNICAMP) from 2000 to 2007 where now is responsible for the Section of Conservative Treatment for Pelvic Floor Dysfunction. Also, is supervisor of the Specialization Course of Physiotherapy for Women’s Health of UNICAMP.
