Graduated in Medicine from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul in 1980 (PUCRS), Master in Medicine and Health Sciences from PUCRS (2000) and Doctorate in the Postgraduate Program in Medicine and Health Sciences from the School of Medicine PUCRS ( 2008). He was Coordinator of Specific Training in Surgery from 2014 to 2020/1. He has been a collaborating physician at Hospital São Lucas da PUCRS since 1986. He is Head of the Urology, Lithotripsy and Urodynamic Services since 2009. He is a professor at the School of Medicine at PUCRS since 1994. He works in the following areas in Urology: Surgery, Lithiasis, Oncology, Urology female, Incontinence, Urodynamics and Geriatrics.
