Philip E. V. Van Kerrebroeck is Professor em. of Urology at the University of Maastricht and works as a urologist specialised in second opinons at the Life Expert Center in Leuven (B). He obtained his MD from the University of Louvain (B), trained in General Surgery and Urology in Belgium, the Netherlands and the USA, and received a MMS Degree (University of Antwerp, B), and a PhD Degree (Radboud University Nijmegen, NL). He has a clinical interest in different forms of lower urinary tract problems, and his research includes new therapies in Neuro-Urology and Functional Urology. He is one of the pioneers in neuromodulation for Lower Urinary Tract Dysfunction. He was for 8 years Chairman of the ICS Standardisation Committee and authored the first ICS report on Nocturia. He was involved in the NERI Conferences on Nocturia and was Chairman of the ICI-RS Nocturia Think Tank. He is currently member of the Board of Trustees of the ICS and member of the Board of the EAU. He is also chairman of the History Office of the EAU. He presented in all continents, especially on LUTS/ OAB, neuromodulation and nocturia. He has authored over 400 peer-reviewed articles, book chapters and books and is member of 25 scientific societies. He currently serves on the editorial board of 6 journals,
